Can I invite my friends to join the community?

Absolutely! This Discord community is open to all that agree to uphold the standards they agreed upon in order to receive their Community Member role. Use the Join Discord link at the top of this page.

How do I become a member of your in-game clans/guilds?

The community and server leadership pay close attention to the interactions in our community. We extend invitations based on merit in game and on Discord. We also accept recommendations from other members of the clan/guild. Existing member requests should be sent via DM to the respective game officers.

There's a lot of information posted, how do I stay up to date with the community/game?

This GitBook is one of the ways you can stay up to date with the best strategy, builds and information about the games we play. If you don't see it here, check the media channels for Twitter, YouTube and other links may be helpful. You can also use Discord's search, narrowing your search to certain channels.

In addition to these resources, we also have a weekly podcast where we discuss the games played in the community and also talk about community updates and events. You can find the podcast on many platforms like Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify and Anchor.fm.

How do I sign up for an event?

We use guilded.gg to host our events. You can click the Events link at the top of this page, then use your discord to log in, join the Assist City team, and your Discord roles will sync, allowing you to sign up for events under each game. You can also now use the reactions in the Discord posts to sign up.

How do I create an event?

If you'd like to create your own event, please contact the Game Officers of the game you want and they will assist you with getting your event created. Please allow for some time to respond and people to sign up for your event. Short notice groups should be put together using the lfg channels.

I signed up for an event, but now I can't make it. What do I do?

Life happens and we understand that. We ask that you remove yourself from the event so that the group can work on filling your spot or the next person on the sign up can take it. We will not penalize for cancelling your sign up before start time, but we will not condone no shows or sign up changes at/after start time. We value your time as an individual, please be considerate with multiple other people's time as well. With both Guilded and Discord applications available on smartphones, it's an easy button press to change your sign up.
